County Commissioner of Cook County, Illinois Honors College Fund with Resolution

April 29, 2015

On Wednesday, April 29, the Honorable Stanley Moore, County Commissioner for Cook County, passed a Resolution with the Cook County Board of Commissioners in Illinois to honor and recognize the American Indian College Fund for “its great work on behalf of American Indian and Alaska Natives.” The Board also wished the College Fund a successful 25th Anniversary Gala, which will raise funds and awareness about the College Fund’s mission. The event is scheduled for Friday, May 8, from 6:30 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. at the historic Drake Hotel in Chicago. The College Fund will receive a framed copy of this official Resolution.

The College Fund wishes to thank Chicago committee member Paul Arnold, Managing Director of Feather Group LLC of Chicago, Illinois, and Nicole Fish, Dean of Student Services of College of Menominee Nation, Keshena, Wisconsin (pictured here at the event) who represented the College Fund. Mr. Arnold was instrumental in introducing the matter to the Cook County Board of Commissioners on behalf of the College Fund.
