Join the College Fund and leaders from the nation’s higher education organizations for a live Twitter chat @ACTEquity on June 3, 2020, 2 p.m. EDT/11 a.m. PDT focused on how we can support our students through these changes. Cheryl Crazy Bull, President and CEO of the American Indian College Fund, and Tiffany Gusbeth, Director of Student Success Services at the American Indian College Fund will be on hand for the discussion. High school and college-aged learners disproportionately impacted by COVID19, college access and success professionals, college advisers, professors, first-gen students, rural learners, TCU faculty and staff, MSI administrators, HBCU organizations, and parents are invited to attend to openly discuss the barriers our communities are experiencing in the wake of COVID-19 and solutions to removing them.
During the Twitter Chat, @ACTEquity will ask the audience to share its experiences, concerns, and ideas about equity in higher education for Native Americans. The questions will be asked from ACT’s Center for Equity in Learning’s Twitter handle (@ACTEquity) and will immediately be retweeted by The American Indian College Fund (@collegefund) every ten minutes. Participants are asked to include the hashtag #COVIDEquityChat
