TCU Faculty Convening

The annual TCU Faculty Convening began in 2014 to provide a venue for emerging and senior TCU faculty scholars to present their research and to build a supportive network of faculty scholars. It has since expanded to be a place for faculty to share best practices and strategies to help them excel in their multifaceted role as TCU faculty members. In addition to instruction, the faculty role often includes administrative responsibilities, committee work, student advising, research, and community engagement. The convening discusses these topics and more.

The convening is also a place to discuss the latest research conducted by the College Fund and other Native-led organizations on tribal colleges and Native students. Our vision is for the convening to become the premier annual conference where TCU and non-TCU faculty, peer organizations, and higher education leaders can share, learn, build lasting relationships, and translate insights into practice.
