Scholarships
The American Indian College Fund provides scholarships to American Indian and Alaska Native college students enrolled in certificate, undergraduate, or graduate program at tribal colleges and other nonprofit, accredited schools.
Eligibility
To be eligible, students must be an enrolled member (or a descendant of one) of a federally or state-recognized tribe while demonstrating a cumulative grade point average of at least 2.00 and maintaining full-time enrollment.
Documentation Needed to Apply
- Digital photo – a headshot or photograph of yourself
- Tribal affiliation – Enrolled members should provide proof of their tribal enrollment (or CIB). Descendants prove descent by providing a copy of their parent/grandparent’s enrollment information and a copy of the student’s birth certificate
- Transcript – Most recent high school or college unofficial transcript

Our application for the 2023-2024 academic year opened on February 1st, 2023 and will have a priority deadline of May 31st, 2023. If you have additional questions about the scholarship application, or your status, please contact a member of our Student Success Services team at scholarships@collegefund.org, or at 800-987-3863.
Tribal College & University (TCU) Scholarship
The American Indian College Fund provides additional scholarship opportunities to students of our 35 accredited tribal college partners. The same Full Circle Scholarship application is used to apply, and you will automatically be considered for funding if you are a full-time student at one of these schools. Reach out to your tribal college’s financial aid department to learn more.

Additional Scholarships
There are thousands of scholarship opportunities in addition to the Full Circle and Tribal College & University (TCU) scholarship programs we offer.
