United Tribes Technical College’s 230-acre campus, once a military post, covers part of the original territory of Mandan, Hidatsa and Arikara people, and the Dakota in Bismarck, North Dakota. UTTC strives to remain a premiere college, a leader in tribal education, arts, cultural preservation, and technology, while educating students to be skilled, knowledgeable, culturally-grounded, healthy graduates who will achieve their educational goals; empower their communities; and preserve the environment, tribal land, water, and natural resources.
UTTC offers bachelor’s and associate degree programs and certificate programs. Bachelor’s degrees include elementary education, criminal justice, business administration, early childhood special education, and criminal justice specializations. Associate degree subjects include health and physical education, environmental science, culinary arts, graphic arts, pre-engineering, practical nursing, and nutrition and wellness. Certificate programs include automotive technology, welding, medical billing and coding.
Housing is available for single students, single parents, and married couples. Campus dining, childcare, career services, a wellness center, tutoring, and on-campus recreation are offered. UTCC has a men’s and women’s basketball team.
