Chartered in 1972 by the Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa Indians, TMC sits ten miles from the Canadian border in the wooded, hilly Turtle Mountains. The 165,000-square-foot main campus on 123 acres features state-of-the-art technology, science and engineering labs, a gymnasium, auditorium, and a wind turbine that serves as a major power source.
