Scholarship Outreach Grants for California Tribes

Since 2019, the American Indian College Fund has offered most California tribal members up to $20,000 in annual scholarship support to earn a college degree or certificate through the Wi’áaşal (Great Oak) Future Leaders Scholarship. This has resulted in an investment of almost $5 Million in scholarships in the past three years, and we want to help even more Native students (visit www.collegefund.org/california to learn more).

The application for 2023-2024 funding is NOW OPEN, and this year we’re investing even more to help you connect this critical funding to your tribal members and student. You can apply for up to $500 and materials to promote this great opportunity, and public high schools have been added to the program this year! Just fill out the short application below by the March 30, 2023 deadline, and we’ll respond quickly to your request. These funds can be used for ANY effort to promote Wi’áaşal (Great Oak) Future Leaders Scholarship outreach and applications before the current cycle’s May 31, 2023 application deadline.
