AT&T Gives $1.5 Million in Pandemic-Related Supplies to More Than 20 Tribal Colleges and Universities
The American Indian College Fund and the American Indian Higher Education Consortium are receiving $1.5M in pandemic-related supplies including hand sanitizer, disinfectant and gloves. Both organizations are working with AT&T to distribute the supplies to more than 20 tribal colleges and universities (TCUs) across the country.

The American Indian College Fund and its governing board of trustees is saddened to learn of the death of Robert Bible, President of the College of Muscogee Nation (CMN), a tribal college in Okmulgee, Oklahoma. President Bible was known throughout Indian Country for his selfless dedication to his community and for his outstanding contributions to American Indian higher education with his humility.
American Indian College Fund Teams with Ford Motor Company Fund to Provide Native-Serving Organizations with $134,611 in Protective Gear
Native American communities suffer from coronavirus infection rates greater than 3.5 times that of white people, according to the Centers for Disease Control. So, when the Ford Motor Company Fund (the Ford Fund), a longtime supporter of the American Indian College Fund, proposed partnering with College Fund to deliver personal protective equipment (PPE) to non-profit organizations serving Native communities and Colorado communities in need, the College Fund jumped at the chance.

Student Biographies
Jasmine
(Menominee Tribe of Wisconsin)
Jasmine earned her Bachelor’s degree in public administration from the College of the Menominee Nation last May and began her studies at the University of Michigan Law School this fall where she will focus on environmental and constitutional law.
Samantha
(Wampanoag Tribe)
Samantha is pursuing a degree in law from Harvard Law School and hopes dedicate her career to fighting for justice on behalf of Native people, who have historically lacked adequate representation.
Jerald
(Sisseton-Wahpeton Oyate)
Jerald is helping members of his tribe and community heal from generational trauma through mental health and substance abuse counseling. He believes his past struggles will help him offer better care to those in need.
Jamie
(Muscogee [Creek] Nation)
Jamie is pursuing her Bachelor of Science in biology from the College of Muscogee Nation and hopes to educate her people on the importance of local, sustainable agriculture and stewarding a healthy relationship with the environment.
