College Fund Staffer to Discuss Fund’s Early Childhood Education Program on Television

Tarajean Yazzie Mintz, program officer for the American Indian College Fund’s Wakanyeja “sacred little ones” early childhood education initiative, will appear on a television program tonight to discuss early childhood education and how programs that incorporate culture and community enhance student achievement. The show will air for two weeks straight on Wednesdays at 7 p.m., Thursdays at 7 am & Saturdays at 7:30 am Eastern Standard Time.

Every year, the American Indian College Fund releases a State of the College Fund address, delivered by its President and CEO, Cheryl Crazy Bull (Sicangu Lakota). This year President Crazy Bull addresses the importance of the College Fund’s continued mission and the tribal colleges and universities’ in growing Native people and communities in the wake of national discussions about higher education.
