TRIBAL COLLEGE & UNIVERSITY SCHOLARSHIP

The American Indian College Fund administers TCU Scholarships for 35 tribal colleges and universities in the United States.

TCU Scholarships are administered by each Tribal College or University. Contact your school’s financial aid to learn more.

HOW TO APPLY:

If you have already completed a Full Circle Scholarship application, and indicated that you are attend a tribal college or university, a prompt will appear in the “Applications” dashboard. If you have not applied, CLICK HERE to learn more about the Full Circle Scholarship.

IF YOU ARE A NEW APPLICANT:

Here are the basic items that you will need to apply for a TCU Scholarship

"/ Digital photo – Upload a digital photo that’s at least 1.5 MB in size. We share photos with donors, so please ensure it looks professional. Read more in our Application Photo Q&A.
"/ Tribal Affiliation – Upload a copy of your proof of tribal enrollment (ID or CIB) or descendency by submitting your parent’s or grandparent’s proof of tribal enrollment along with your birth certificates that proves descendancy. Non-Native students can also apply for TCU scholarships, and do not need to provide tribal information.

To apply for a TCU Scholarship, you will not need to submit proof of tribal affiliation or a transcript, but we suggest you watch the Full Circle Application Walkthrough Video, and the applications are similar.

DEADLINE –TCU Scholarships are awarded on a semester basis, and applications open on January 1st and August 1st each year. Deadlines differ for each tribal college or university. Contact your school’s financial aid office to learn more.
