Hilton Worldwide Grants $11,000 to American Indian College Fund for Scholarships

The American Indian College Fund received $11,000 from Hilton Worldwide for Native students studying hospitality, tourism, food services, or business at Blackfeet Community College, Mont.; Lac Courte Oreilles Ojibwa Community College, Minn.; or Southwestern Indian Polytechnic Institute, N.M. and those willing to intern with the company are eligible to apply.

“The Hilton Worldwide Tribal College Hospitality Scholarship Program was created to provide ongoing financial support for Native American youth interested in pursuing hospitality careers,” said Michael C. Ford, vice president, global diversity and inclusion, Hilton Worldwide. “We are committed to supporting our future leaders and creating a diverse pipeline of talent.”

“Hilton Worldwide is providing Native students with access to a higher education and invaluable internship experience to position them for success in their careers,” said Dr. Cheryl Crazy Bull, President and CEO of the American Indian College Fund.
