Thirty-three tribal college students were honored at the AIHEC Student Conference in Chandler, Arizona for their achievements as being named Students of the Year.
In addition, Dr. Robert Martin (Cherokee), president of the Institute of American Indian Arts in Santa Fe, New Mexico, was honored with the Fund’s Tribal College President Award.

College Fund Faculty Advisor, Stephen Wall, had the experience of a lifetime this summer serving as a Fulbright Specialist working with Tranby, an Aboriginal-controlled organization, in Australia.
