This fall American Indian College Fund president and CEO Cheryl Crazy Bull addressed the Association of Community College Trustees. The College Fund has been awarded $1.3 million for the Ma’koce O’gluspa (Embracing the Land) Program. Participating tribal colleges and universities will use this funding to focus on place-based learning, professional development, and networking opportunities that complement the environment, cultural practices, and the connection between the health of the land and its people.
