Donaldson Foundation Grants $15,000 to Renew Scholarship Program

October 18, 2011

The Minnesota-based Donaldson Foundation granted $15,000 to the American Indian College Fund to renew its commitment to the Donaldson Foundation Tribal College Scholarship Program. This program provides scholarships to American Indian students studying science, technology, engineering, or math at tribal colleges and universities in Minnesota and Wisconsin.

“The Donaldson Foundation is pleased to continue its support of the American Indian College Fund,” said Jessica Exley, president of The Donaldson Foundation. “The Foundation is committed to supporting educational initiatives where our employees live and work. The Donaldson Tribal College Scholarship Program is an excellent vehicle for us to continue building a strong base of engineers here in our community.”

“We are thrilled that the Donaldson Foundation is renewing its partnership with the American Indian College Fund,” said Richard B. Williams, President and CEO of the American Indian College Fund. “Their support helps to provide Native students with scholarships to study the science, technology, engineering, math, and business fields, areas that are vitally needed for our nation’s growth.”

Established in 1966, the Donaldson Foundation funds charitable causes on behalf of Donaldson Company, Inc. Since 1991, the Foundation has contributed 2% of the company’s U.S. earnings each year, making it a Minnesota Keystone participant. Its mission is to positively impact the communities in which its employees live and work by supporting education.
