The Community Foundation of the Dan River Region supported the American Indian College Fund with a disbursement of $5,750 from an anonymous donor to their donor-established endowment.

Debra Dodson, Executive Director, said, “The Community Foundation of the Dan River Region is pleased to be able to fulfill the wishes of area donors. The Cora Taylor Younger Smith Memorial Fund was established in 2008 to benefit several non-profit organizations. We are happy to know that the contributions will allow the American Indian College Fund to continue to transform Indian higher education.”

The Community Foundation of the Dan River Foundation is an independent, public charity working to improve and enrich area lives through the generosity of donors. The foundation offers several different types of charitable funds and helps donors.
