College Fund Honored in NYC for Native Cultural Festival

May 23, 2016

Drums Along the Hudson, a New York non-profit organization that sponsors an annual music and multi-cultural festival in celebrating American Indian contributions to the environment and culture, has named the American Indian College Fund as one of its 2016 honorees. As part of the celebrations, College Fund president Cheryl Crazy Bull was interviewed on ABC 7’s “Here and Now” program about how the College Fund is helping provide American Indian people with access to a higher education and the importance of recognizing the contributions that Native people make to our nation.

This year’s festival, which is free and open to the public, is scheduled for Sunday, June 12, at Inwood Hill Park in Manhattan from 11 a.m.-6 p.m.
