The Fund and AIBL Join to Support Native Students in Business Education

| The American Indian College Fund (the Fund) and the American Indian Business Leaders (AIBL) have joined forces to work together to increase career and educational opportunities for Native students studying business. The Fund will provide business scholarship recipients a membership in AIBL, as well as $125 per student toward the students’ local AIBL Chapter to assist with travel expenses to and from the AIBL National Conference. Both organizations will also work together to increase the number of active AIBL chapters established at tribal colleges and universities across the United States. A recently agreed Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the organizations paves the way for future cooperation between the two organizations. The agreement is part of an effort for both organizations to increase Native business student opportunities through networking and professional education outside of the classroom setting. “We are thrilled to be working with AIBL to increase opportunities for American Indian business students,” said Richard B. Williams, President and CEO of the American Indian College Fund. “AIBL is the only nonprofit American Indian organization dedicated to empowering business students in America.
